This show centers on the daily adventures of PoPoi, a very special character who finds wonder in everything around him, with a highly imaginative perspective.

PoPoi is the anthropomorphic, dough-like main protagonist of the story. He, a spirited little character, and his friend (and loyal pet), Ryan, explore the everyday world with a very imaginative twist.

The show has been created specifically for preschoolers, with the main objectives of:

• Encouraging creativity

• Exploring visual stimulation

 

This animated series combines the simplicity of the everyday world with stories that capture the essence of the adventurous spirit in every child.

The Concept of the Show
Each episode is 70 seconds long, which proposes a unique dynamic for storytelling. The structure of each episode follows a classic format: intro, conflict, and resolution.
The pace is steady, but the timing is slightly accelerated and simplified to fit the episode length and create a smooth rhythm.

The show lacks a traditional spoken language. To be more specific, the only character that speaks is Po Poi, but he doesn’t speak any particular (or understandable) language.

He speaks with a high-pitched voice, producing funny noises that may sound like words but have no real meaning. Sometimes, his sentences end with the word "Popoi."
Occasionally, or in specific situations, PoPoi drops real English words in the middle of his speech (representing an object or action).

 

Since PoPoi speaks a non-conventional language and most of the secondary characters are silent, the show relies heavily on body language and situational actions to communicate with the audience.
